Angela E. Payne

Angela E. Payne, Ph.D., currently serves as the Assistant Executive Director for Institutional Research and Effectiveness at the Mississippi Community College Board since April 2020. With over two decades of experience in higher education administration, Angela has held the position of Director of Admissions, where leadership was demonstrated in college admissions, recruitment, and various student services. Angela's academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Instructor in Business Management and Legal Environment of Business from 2000 to 2016. Prior to these roles, Angela gained significant experience in project management as a Project Manager/Consultant at Pitney Bowes Management Services and as a Business Analyst at Raytheon Systems. Angela holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University, alongside two Master's degrees in Business Administration from The University of Dallas, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University Commerce.
