Robert Simpson

Robert Simpson's work experience includes a role as Sr. Lead Database Administrator at Mitel since August 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Developer/Videographer at Startup Weekend from March 2012 to May 2023. Robert also served as a Sr. Database Administrator at CompuGroup Technologies in March 2018. From May 1988 to February 2018, Robert worked as a Sr. Technical Analyst at Black Box, Black Box Corp., and Black Box Corporation. Robert was a Contract Analyst at Newton Consulting from April 2008 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as a RideShare Driver at Lyft from December 2015 to December 2017. Robert also had a role as a Producer and Knight for No Agenda (Adam Curry & John C. Dvorak) from 2011 to 2016. Finally, they served as the President of Accilent from November 1997 to 2011.

Robert Simpson earned a Masters of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh between 1987 and 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a BSAS degree in Computer Information Systems Technology from Youngstown State University from 1977 to 1982. In addition, they have also obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021.
