Rashid Ali

Rashid Ali is a Research Scientist at Mitrix.bio since September 2021 and has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Animal Science, Center for Regenerative Biology, University of Connecticut since November 2014. In this role, Rashid Ali has focused on genome editing in bovine primary fibroblast cell lines using CRISPR-Cas9 techniques and has supervised both graduate and undergraduate research. Previously, Rashid Ali also held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Connecticut from October 2008 to December 2012. Rashid Ali earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Botany/Molecular Biology from the University of The Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, between 1994 and 2001.
