Vedang Deshpande

Vedang Deshpande is a highly skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Visiting Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories since June 2022, Vedang has previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Texas A&M University from August 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included teaching and conducting research in intelligent systems. Prior experience includes a Research Internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, a Senior Engineer role at Honeywell Technology Solutions, and internships at Altair and National Aerospace Laboratories, where significant contributions to software testing automation and aerodynamic modeling were made. Vedang holds a dual degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
