Venesa Klein

Venesa Klein has a long and successful career in talent acquisition, beginning in 2004 with The Wilderness Society as Associate Development Director of the Western Region. Venesa was responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential individual donors for annual fund campaigns and was promoted to the Associate Development Director of the Western Region within one year. In 2007, they joined The Pacific Firm as a Senior Executive Recruiter and Practice Leader, leading searches nationally in the non-profit, technology, life sciences, retail/CPG, and pharmaceutical industries. In 2009, Venesa was recruited by Google to staff their internal executive recruiting function and was responsible for full lifecycle recruiting of Executive Recruiters and Executive Sourcers. In 2010, they moved to MetrixLab (formerly MarketTools) as Senior Corporate Recruiter and oversaw the hiring process from position development through offer for all levels across all functions. In 2012, Venesa joined Calibre One as Partner, managing Women Board Member recruiting as well as diversity recruiting. Venesa specializes in VP and C level searches for Go-to-Market, Operations, and Human Resources positions and guides a team of associates and researchers while also leading strategic internal and external initiatives. In 2021, Venesa was appointed Head of Talent Acquisition at Mixbook.

Venesa Klein attended Crossroads High School from 1994 to 1999, followed by the University of Montana until 2002. Venesa then attended Sonoma State University but did not receive any degree. No additional certifications have been noted.
