Dana Jewell

Dana Jewell is currently the General Counsel at Mixhalo. Prior to this, they served as the VP, Deputy General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Chegg Inc. from July 2016 to December 2020. During their time at Chegg Inc., Dana was responsible for all Corporate, Litigation, Regulatory, M&A, and Commercial matters. Dana successfully scaled legal services by building systems, processes, and tools for a company that tripled in size.

From December 2013 to July 2016, Dana served as the Senior Director and Corporate Counsel at Good Powered by BlackBerry. As Senior Director, Dana was responsible for business development, product, and marketing teams with technology acquisition, partner licensing, and strategic global tech partnerships. Dana successfully closed deals with strategic partners such as Samsung, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, and Google. In addition, Dana was responsible for managing BlackBerry's external developer ecosystem of over 200 independent software vendors.

Dana has a successful track record of working in high-growth companies and has demonstrated their ability to effectively scale legal services. Dana is a skilled negotiator and has experience in managing corporate partnerships. Dana is an experienced attorney who has handled commercial and employment cases following an acquisition.

Dana Jewell attended Adrian College, where they earned their B.A. in Political Science. Dana then went on to attend University of Michigan Law School, where they earned their J.D. in Law.
