Karen Schmikl

Karen Schmikl has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In their most recent role at MIXMOVE, they served as the Chief Product & Marketing Officer, overseeing product development and marketing strategies. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Product & Marketing at MIXMOVE, where they played a key role in product and marketing management. Karen has also worked at Alpega Group as the Director of Product Management, leading the transition of the company to a product-focused organization. Before that, they were a Principal Product Manager at inet, part of Alpega, where they managed global supply chain networks. Karen also has experience as a Business Consultant and Global Product Manager at Sage, where they handled payroll and HR products, and established and managed the cloud business unit. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in product management, marketing, and business development.

Karen Schmikl attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree. During their time at the university, they focused on fields such as Communication Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing Management. Karen also earned a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in July 2011.
