Chanuka Madumal

Chanuka Madumal is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as Chef De Partie at both Cortyard by Marriot Sri Lanka and Ichiban Japanese Restaurant since early 2023. In addition, Chanuka holds the position of Head Chef at Jaw Box Cafe and has been a Sushi Chef at Kimuraya Japanese Restaurant and SUSHI NATION LTD since 2021 and 2020, respectively. Chanuka's culinary journey began as a Commis 1 at Kami Maki Japanese Restaurant and includes roles such as Buddy Trainer at Pizza Hut Sri Lanka and Deckhand at Ceyline Shipping Services Pvt Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Hotel Operations & Catering from Win-Stone School of Culinary Art, and a degree as a Deck Cadet from Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College.
