Emir Biser has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Emir is currently the Head of Global Procurement at Metso Outotec Waste Recycling, where they lead the procurement department and develops end-to-end procurement strategies. Prior to this, they worked as the Procurement Director and Head of Asset Management at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, where they directed senior commodity teams and transformed the procurement function. Emir also has experience as a Senior Procurement Leader at Novartis, where they transformed the procurement department and optimized indirect spend. Emir has also worked at DONG Energy as a Senior Contract Manager, delivering cost and efficiency savings and participating in green energy initiatives. Earlier in their career, they worked at DFDS Seaways as a Business Development Manager, reorganizing the supply chain management department and leading sourcing initiatives. Emir started their career at Ingram Micro Lifecycle Services, where they held roles such as Solution Development Manager, Global Business Performance Consultant, and Supply Chain Analyst, focusing on supply chain optimization and solution development.

Emir Biser holds a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, which they obtained from 2003 to 2009. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Florida. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science in Business & Supply Chain Management & Business Computing from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2003 to 2008.
