Rohan Mehta is a Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research is being conducted with Max Tegmark’s groups under Caltech Ph11 funding since June 2024. Currently, Rohan serves as a Student Ambassador for Amino Labs, authoring blog posts to promote synthetic biology and organizing local events. As a Research Affiliate at ML Collective, Rohan investigates Modern Hopfield Networks and their potential for out-of-domain generalization in facial recognition. Rohan is also a World Science Scholar, selected among ~40 high school students globally for remarkable achievements in math and science, allowing participation in college-level courses. Previous experience includes a Computational Chemistry Internship at Wolfram, involving innovative modeling of chemical reactions and analysis of oscillators, and a summer camp experience at Wolfram focusing on the relationship between Pi Calculus and Petri Nets. Education includes studies at Caltech, Moravian Academy, and participation in the High School Scholar program at Lehigh University.
