Emily Corless Byam

Emily Corless Byam has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Emily began their career as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) in Behavioral Health at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in 2001. In 2005, they took on a School Counseling Intern role at Illing Middle School and Manchester High School, and a School Counseling Practicum Student role at Quirk Middle School. In 2006, they became a School Counselor at Woodstock Academy. From 2015 to 2018, Emily worked as a Data Entry Specialist at One Mnet Health and a Library Assistant at WEST HARTFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY (INC). In 2018, they also took on a Career Developer / WIOA Case Manager (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act) / School Counselor role at Middletown Adult Education. Emily is currently working as an Edmentum Online Course Facilitator at Somers High School.

Emily Corless Byam obtained a Master of Science and Sixth Year Certificate from the University of Hartford in 2006, majoring in School Counseling. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton in 2001, majoring in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish.
