Negin Mehrbod

Dr. Negin Mehrbod has a strong background in data science, with significant work experience in both industry and academia. Negin is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Mobileum since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Knowledgebiz as a Data Scientist from April 2021 to December 2022. Negin also gained valuable experience as a Data Scientist at UNIDEMI - Research and Development Unit for Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, where they worked from December 2016 to April 2021. Before transitioning to industry, Dr. Mehrbod served as a Lecturer at Islamic Azad University from October 2012 to July 2016. Overall, their work experience spans a range of roles and industries, showcasing their expertise and adaptability in the field of data science.

Negin Mehrbod, Ph.D., obtained their education from various esteemed institutions. Negin began their academic journey in 2007 at the Iran University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering until 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their educational pursuits at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, which they completed in 2013.

Driven by their passion for the field, Negin went on to broaden their expertise in Industrial Engineering. To accomplish this, they enrolled in the Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2016. Over the span of five years, they dedicated their efforts to earn a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Industrial Engineering, which they successfully accomplished in 2021.
