Clayton Curtis has a extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Clayton began their career at Texaco Inc as a Field Chemist in 1981 and worked there until 1987. From 1987 to 2007, they held the position of Senior Environmental Manager at Baker Hughes Incorporated. In 2007, they joined Oiltanking GmbH, where they initially worked as the Director of Regulatory Affairs, North America until 2010, and then as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, North America until 2015. Following that, they joined Arc Terminals as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Moda Midstream since November 2018.

Clayton Curtis earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Zoology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1978 to 1981. Prior to that, they attended Grayville High School, although no specific dates or degrees were mentioned for this educational experience.
