Kelsey Chiarelli

Kelsey Chiarelli is a seasoned engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Modern Railway Systems since July 2020, Kelsey manages project contracts, specifications, and drawings while developing change order proposals and pricing. Previously, Kelsey worked as an Estimator in the Rail Division at Balfour Beatty US, where responsibilities included creating estimates for railroad work, attending pre-bid meetings, and ensuring compliance with local business and disadvantaged business enterprise goals. Earlier experience includes roles as a Marine Class Surveyor and Rotational Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping, where Kelsey conducted detailed ship surveys and assisted in technical research. An internship at Enserca Engineering involved designing a game to illustrate oil and gas processing and collaborating on inventory tracking.
