Kevin McCarpenter has over 15 years of work experience in the software engineering field. From 2021 to present, they have been working as an Engineering Manager at Moderne, Inc., where they lead a talented group of engineers working on cloud service solutions with Java/Spring Boot microservices and cloud infrastructure. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon from 2014 to 2021, where they held various roles such as Sr. Software Development Engineer - Amazon Retail, Software Development Engineer - Amazon Retail, Software Development Manager - Amazon Devices, and Software Development Engineer - Amazon Devices. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Shelter Insurance Companies as a Software Developer III and Programmer. In 2006, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Softek Solutions, Inc.

Kevin McCarpenter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northwest Missouri State University between 2003 and 2007.
