Mihai Fonoage

Mihai Fonoage has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Mihai started their career as a Software Developer at Lance Software and later joined Motorola, Inc. as a Software Engineering Intern in 2007. In 2006, they joined the FAU College of Engineering & Computer Science as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they contributed to a design automation framework.

From 2010 onwards, Mihai Fonoage has primarily focused on mobile development roles. Mihai worked as a Mobile Engineering Intern, Mobile Software Engineer, and Senior Mobile Software Engineer at various companies. Notably, they served as the Director of Mobile Development and later as the Senior Director of Mobile Development at ModMed. Mihai also held the position of Associate Vice President of Mobile Strategy and User Experience.

Besides their mobile development expertise, Mihai Fonoage has been actively involved in the academic and professional community. Mihai has served as a Board Member for the Nova Southeastern University College of Computing and Engineering, a Board Member for South Florida Tech Hub, and an Advisory Board Chair for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University. Mihai is currently an Advisory Board Member and Chair for the Stiles-Nicholson STEM Teacher Academy at Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, they have been a Plato Mentor for Engineering Leadership since 2018.

Mihai Fonoage has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Mihai also has a B.S. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, which they completed from 2000 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Mihai has achieved various qualifications in fields such as machine learning, agile methodologies, and programming languages, including certifications from organizations such as DeepLearning.AI, Amazon Web Services, Scaled Agile, and Scrum Alliance.
