Karen L. Fricks

Karen L. Fricks has a diverse work experience in accounting and financial management. Starting in 1981, they worked at KPMG as an Audit Manager, responsible for examining financial statements and evaluating internal controls. In 1991, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Tricore Reference Laboratories, where they oversaw financial reporting, billing, budgeting, cash management, and supervision of accounting and billing employees. During their time there, they successfully implemented a business combination and conversion to a multi-million dollar billing system. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Peltier Gustafson and Miller PA. Later, they worked as a Controller at High Desert Investment Corporation from 2006 to 2011, and as an Assistant Controller at Sandia Resort & Casino from 2011 to 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Accounting at Modrall Sperling.
