Douglas Moreira has diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Douglas started their career as a Web Designer at Rara Comunicação e Marketing in 2007. In 2010, they joined Engecompany as a Software Developer, maintaining an ERP solution for industries and factories. From 2011 to 2012, they co-founded Hidetaka, a company that provided specialized software solutions for small companies.

In 2012, Douglas became a Software Architect at Multicar Assistência Veícular, where they designed and developed the company's internal ERP and websites. Douglas then moved to Djar Consultoria Sistemas e Comércio in 2013, where they founded a side company and worked on various projects, including ERP systems, mobile apps, home automation systems, and more.

In 2014, Douglas joined Basis Tecnologia da Informação S.A. as a Software Developer. Douglas then worked at InnoGames GmbH from 2015 to 2018, where they contributed to the maintenance and development of new features in the company's top games.

Currently, Douglas is serving as a Senior Software Engineer / Scrum Master at moebel.de Einrichten & Wohnen GmbH. In this role, they are responsible for maintaining and managing a state machine that handles the import, enhancement, sorting, and delivery of products to diverse channels. Douglas also migrated services to PHP built with Java 11, SpringBoot, and REST Easy.

Throughout their career, Douglas has utilized various technologies such as PHP, Java, Symfony, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, Selenium, Git, and many more.

Douglas Moreira's education history begins with their diploma in Electronics from Senai, which they obtained in 2009. Douglas then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Universidade de Itaúna from 2009 to 2013. In 2014 and 2015, Douglas completed a Post Degree program in Web Applications Development at PUC Minas. Throughout their educational journey, they have also obtained various certifications. In 2015, they became a Zend Certified PHP Engineer and in the same year, they also achieved the Java SE 7 Programmer I certification from Oracle. Later, in 2018, they obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2023, Douglas completed the Frontline Leader Impact certification from the Center for Creative Leadership.
