Changxu Zhang

Changxu Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and software engineering. Changxu'smost recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer in the ML Compiler team at Moffett.AI, where they have been working since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Software Engineer in the same team from June 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Moffett.AI, Changxu worked as a Graduate Researcher at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research from August 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they focused on pixel learning with deep reinforcement learning for mixed autonomy traffic. Changxu developed and conducted research on the FLOW framework, as well as explored the transfer of deep reinforcement learning algorithms from virtual simulation to real environments.

In early 2019, Changxu worked as a Research Intern at SenseTime, a leading artificial intelligence company. During this time, they gained practical experience and exposure to cutting-edge research in the field.

Changxu's work experience also includes their time as an Undergraduate Researcher at Vision Lab in Nanjing University from September 2016 to August 2018. In this role, they contributed to the field of video frame prediction, developing a model to predict future video frames and reduce bitstream. Changxu designed a neural network to improve prediction accuracy and achieved notable results in terms of average PSNR and SSIM. Changxu also authored a publication on neural future video frame prediction, which was accepted by IEEE ICIP2019.

Changxu Zhang pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at Nanjing University between 2015 and 2019.
