Emily Adams is the Director of Epidemics & Neglected Tropical Diseases at Mologic. Emily has over 15 years of experience in research and communications, specializing in infectious diseases.
Adams started their career as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London in 2003. Emily then went on to complete their PhD at the University of Bristol in 2008. After a brief stint as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Kit, Adams joined BSP in 2010 as Communications Secretary. Emily remained with the company for two years before joining Mologic in 2012.
Adams has played a key role in several important disease outbreaks, including the Ebola and Zika epidemics. Emily is a highly respected authority on Neglected Tropical Diseases, and their work has helped to raise awareness of these often-ignored conditions.
Emily Adams has a bachelor's degree from the Dyson School of Design Engineering, a master's degree from Nottingham University Business School, and a doctorate from University of Bristol Law School.
