Matthew Aylard

Matthew Aylard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew began their career at BT in 1999, where they worked as a 2nd Line NT Support and Incident Manager until 2006. After that, they worked at CertainIT as a 3rd Line Support Engineer, providing IT infrastructure support and upgrades as a contractor for various companies. During their time at CertainIT, Matthew achieved MCSE 2003 status with Messaging and Security add-ons, as well as MCDBA certification.

In 2008, Matthew worked at MFI Retail as a Wintel 3rd Line engineer, responsible for maintaining and developing their WINTEL environment. Matthew also had a similar role at Ciber Novasoft, where they focused on Microsoft server solutions, particularly Exchange 2007, Clustering, and SQL 2005.

From 2009 to 2010, Matthew worked at Domestic and General as a Technical Specialist, where they handled 3rd Line Wintel Engineering, with a focus on AD, database management, and system maintenance.

Matthew joined Attenda in 2010 as a Support Analyst Level III, providing final technical escalation support and problem management for their largest client in the financial sector. Matthew then took on the role of Technical Service Manager, delivering customer-focused support and exceeding expectations in technical resolution and customer service.

In 2013, Matthew joined The Regus Group as the Global Technical Operations Manager, leading a global team of engineers responsible for improving services and processes around their large-scale enterprise class infrastructure environment. Matthew'srole also involved managing relationships with MSPs and vendors, spearheading the technical operations of the business, and recruitment and performance development of IT professionals.

From 2015 to 2019, Matthew worked at Nexthink, first as a Senior Pre-sales Consultant and then as the Global Pre-sales Manager MSP. In these roles, they were responsible for pre-sales activities, including providing technical support and guidance to clients.

Most recently, Matthew joined MongoDB in 2019 as a Senior Solutions Architect, helping businesses transform their industries by harnessing the power of data. Matthew then progressed to the role of Solutions Architecture - Team Lead UK and currently serves as the Manager Solutions Architecture UK.

Matthew Aylard completed their GCSE education at Scorton Grammar School. Matthew then attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science. Following that, Matthew enrolled in a program at Microsoft from 1999 to 2007, where they earned a certificate in MCSE:Security, specializing in IT Security Consulting and Systems Engineering.
