Sandeep Giri (He/him/his)

Sandeep Giri has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in the tech industry. Sandeep started their career as an IT Recruiter at Head Field Solutions Pvt. Ltd. from April 2013 to May 2015. Sandeep then joined Tech Mahindra as a Talent Acquisition Specialist from May 2015 to July 2016, where they managed end-to-end recruitment for IT and non-IT positions.

In 2016, Sandeep moved to Publicis Sapient, where they held multiple roles. From July 2016 to August 2018, they worked as an Associate - Talent Acquisition, handling lateral and leadership hiring for engineering teams across multiple locations. Then, from August 2018 to August 2019, they served as a Senior Engineering Recruiter, focusing on building product engineering teams.

Most recently, Sandeep has been with MongoDB since August 2019. Sandeep began as a Tech Recruiter - APAC and advanced to become a Senior Technical Recruiter - APAC. Currently, they hold the position of Lead, Tech Recruiter (APAC) since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for designing and restructuring teams and hiring processes, determining hiring strategies, and collaborating with other teams to ensure successful recruitment in the APAC region. Sandeep also focuses on improving hiring success rates and negotiating favorable terms.

Sandeep Giri has a diverse education history. Sandeep first attended DAV Centaneary College from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree with a focus on Computer Applications. After that, they pursued a Master's degree at Sikkim Manipal University in Gangtok from 2012 to 2014. Their Master's degree was in Computer Application, further expanding their knowledge in the field.

Sandeep Giri then decided to specialize in Human Resources Management and Services, so they enrolled in Sikkim Manipal University again from 2014 to 2016. During this period, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services.
