Sunny Lee

Head Of Customer Success PAC RIM at MongoDB

Sunny Lee has extensive work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Technical Officer at Hutchison Telecoms until 1998. From 1998 to 2004, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Televoice Technology Group. Following that, they joined PCCW as a Solutions Manager for Hong Kong and Macau from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Sunny worked as an Elite Customer Success Director at Aspect Software in Greater China. Sunny then moved to Oceanwide as an Account Director for APAC from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Pre-Sales Lead at Accenture for Freight and Logistic Software in APAC. Following that, Sunny worked at Riverbed Technology as a Sales Engineer for Greater China from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined SevOne as a Senior Consultant for APJ until 2016. From 2017 to 2022, Sunny worked at Vonage as a Manager for Customer Success in APAC. Presently, they serve as the Head of Customer Success for the PAC.RIM region at MongoDB, starting in November 2022.

Sunny Lee completed their education in the following order. They obtained a Bachelor of Science with First Honors in Applied Computing from Hong Kong Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, attending from 2002 to 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, Sunny Lee obtained the following credentials: MongoDB Associate Database Administrator and MongoDB Associate Developer from MongoDB in February 2023, and Vonage Video API certified developer, Vonage SMS and Verify API certified developer, and Vonage Voice API certified developer from Vonage in March 2021 and June 2021, respectively.
