Georg Petzold

Georg Petzold is a distinguished scientist currently serving as Senior Scientist II at Monte Rosa Therapeutics since March 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Scientist I. Prior experience includes a role as Project Lead focused on Molecular Glue Degraders at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research from May 2014 to February 2021, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both Friedrich Miescher Institute and the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology from April 2012 to April 2014. Georg Petzold earned a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna in March 2012, a Diploma in the same fields from Heidelberg University in February 2008, and a Prediploma in Biology from Technische Universität Dresden in July 2004.
