Qian Chen

Qian Chen is a seasoned scientific professional with expertise in clinical biomarkers and companion diagnostics, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Monte Rosa Therapeutics since April 2022. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position in Immunology and Oncology at the Department of Biomedicine, University Hospital Basel, from 2016 to 2022, focusing on the immunological mechanisms related to hepatitis C virus and liver cancer. Earlier roles include a scientist position at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology-HKI, where supervision of medical doctoral and master’s students was a key responsibility. Qian Chen holds a PhD in Immunobiology and Molecular Biology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, alongside a Master’s degree in Food Microbiology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from China Agricultural University.
