David Kolade

David Kolade is a dedicated student at Lehman College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. Since January 2020, David has been serving as a Peer Tutor, providing instruction in various biology and chemistry courses, while also assisting with examination preparations. David's commitment to professional development is evident through participation in programs such as SMART MD Scholar and Pathways To Student STEM Success, along with earning significant funding for academic endeavors. Experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant involved biochemical research on DNA aptamers. Additional roles include a Research Fellow at Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center and internships at LaGuardia Community College and NYU Langone Health in patient advocacy and workshop facilitation. David has also actively engaged in various research projects across institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania and Vanderbilt University. In leadership capacities, David served as a Student Senator in the Lehman College Student Government.
