Francisco Gutierrez Torres

Francisco Gutierrez Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Francisco started their career in 2011 at Huawei Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they provided support to corporate clients and managed VAS platforms. Francisco then worked at the Universidad Autónoma de Asunción from 2006 to 2019, initially as a System Administrator and later as a Professor, teaching programming courses and developing applications and scripts. Francisco also worked at Elearning Experts LLC as a Solutions Architect and at English Institute as a System Administrator, focusing on Moodle platform administration and PHP-MySQL programming. Francisco joined FINCA International in 2016 as a Global LMS & Reporting Administrator. Later, they worked at SENADIS as the Director of IT and at Webanywhere as a Solutions Architect. Most recently, Francisco joined DAI in 2020 as an Instructional Design Specialist. Francisco is currently working at Moodle as a DevOps Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer.

Francisco Gutierrez Torres began their education at Colegio Experimental Paraguay Brasil, where they completed their Bachillerato Humanístico degree in 2001. Francisco then attended Universidad Autónoma de Asunción from 2005 to 2009, earning a Licenciado en Análisis de Sistemas degree in Computer Science. At the same university, they also obtained a Grado in Information Technology/Computer Systems Technology. In 2010-2011, Francisco pursued further education at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, completing a Máster en Competencias y Tecnologías Emergentes para el Aprendizaje y Trabajo en Red in the field of Computer Science and Education.
