Mike B.

Mike B. has a range of work experience that spans over two decades. Mike started their career as a Royal Marines Commando in 2000 and served until 2007. Mike then joined the UK Ministry of Defence, where they worked in Operations & Training from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they transitioned to the House of Commons, where they served as Chief of Staff until 2019. During this time, they also had a fellowship with The Shafik Gabr Foundation in the US in 2015. Since 2019, Mike has been working as a Senior Programmes Manager at Moonshot CVE.

Mike B. has a Bachelor's Degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from The Open University. Prior to that, between 1993 and 1999, they attended St. Margaret Ward RC High School in Stoke-on-Trent. In 2013 and 2014, Mike B. studied Business Strategy, Accounting, and Operations at Bristol Management Centre, where they obtained an MBA-Level (CMI level 7) degree. Additionally, Mike B. has obtained various certifications, including Developed Vetting from the UK Ministry of Defence, Associate from the Chartered Management Institute, PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from the Association for Project Management, and Security and Risk Management from BTEC.
