Ipsita Kar

Ipsita Kar is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Incident Management for Asia and Vice President of the Cybersecurity Fusion Center at Morgan Stanley since October 2018. In this role, Ipsita Kar oversees the assessment, detection, and response to cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, contributing significantly to the firm's cyber defense strategy. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Ipsita Kar held various positions at Goldman Sachs from April 2008 to September 2018, including Vice President and global co-lead of Cyber Security Engineering, where responsibilities involved managing a global engineering team and developing strategic technology solutions. Ipsita Kar began the career at L&T Infotech and holds an MBA in Networks and IT Infrastructure from Symbiosis International University and a B Tech in Electronics from Nagpur University.
