Erica Lai

Erica Lai, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist I in Materials at Mori, where responsibilities include leading the Materials R&D team. Previously, Erica held various roles at Lyndra Therapeutics, culminating in the position of Scientist II, focusing on the development of disintegrating linkers for long-acting oral drug programs. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Erica completed a PhD on mussel-inspired metal-coordinate hydrogels while also contributing as a teaching assistant and undergraduate researcher. Additional experience includes roles as a research intern at Brookhaven National Laboratory and GE Aviation, among others. Erica earned a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT.
