Research Director at Morning Consult

Cate Keller has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Cate is currently the Director of Client Services at Morning Consult, a position they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Veris Insights from 2020 to 2022. At Veris Insights, Cate held two roles - Research Director and Senior Project Manager. As Research Director, they led a team focused on delivering high-quality research to inform decision-making. Cate also established strategic priorities, directed day-to-day operations, and drove product innovation. As Senior Project Manager, Cate led various projects, including exploring and developing the company's first product outside of University Recruiting, leading product redesign for Veris Insights' custom research product, and conducting pilot studies to test innovative approaches to research.

Before joining Veris Insights, Cate worked at Hanover Research from 2015 to 2020. Cate held the roles of Content Director, Senior Content Analyst, and Content Analyst during their tenure there. As Content Director, they executed numerous written reports and presentations synthesizing primary and secondary research. Cate also designed training materials and contributed to process improvement initiatives.

Prior to Hanover Research, Cate worked at EAB from 2013 to 2014. Cate held the positions of Associate Director of Marketing and New Business Development, and Research Associate. As the Associate Director, Cate managed a nationwide prospect pool and sales pipeline, conducted onsite business development presentations, and conveyed EAB's value proposition. As a Research Associate, they authored research briefs, managed multiple projects, and provided training for new hires.

Cate's earlier experiences include an internship at Communities In Schools National Office in 2012, where they contributed to the organization's Government Affairs work and played a role in grassroots advocacy efforts. Cate also had a Global Health Internship at Family Health International in 2010, where they conducted analysis on global health and development issues and compiled literature reviews.

Cate Keller's education history begins with their completion of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Myers Park High School from 2005 to 2009. Cate then pursued their higher education at Duke University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy Analysis between 2009 and 2012. Moving forward, Cate attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, specializing in a Master of Business Administration (MBA). From 2020 to 2022, they engaged in dual concentrations in Management & Leadership, as well as Marketing. Additionally, Cate acquired the certification "Protecting Human Research Participants" from the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research in January 2016.
