Andrew Garcia is currently an Emergency Medical Technician at Morningside Of Fullerton, providing exceptional patient care for residents. Concurrently, Andrew is involved with Chicano Student Programs at the University of California, Riverside, serving as a peer mentor and participating in the inaugural Pilot Bridge Program. As an undergraduate researcher in the Ninova Lab, Andrew focuses on genome regulation using the Drosophila melanogaster model. Previous experience includes roles as a Master Barista at Starbucks, where certification as a Master Barista was achieved, and participation in a gene expression analysis project in the Wessler Lab. Additionally, Andrew served as an academic tutor for GoToTutors, assisting underserved students, and volunteered as a hospice aide during high school. Andrew is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at UC Riverside, expected to graduate in June 2025.
