Alexandra Aguiar

Alexandra Aguiar is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Morningstar since May 2022, Alexandra has previously contributed to SAP as a Software Developer, where responsibilities included core/back-end development and integration of legacy systems. With a background in mobile application development at HumanITas Solutions, Alexandra has expertise in energy consumption profiling and optimization techniques for Python-based applications from a postdoctoral fellowship at Polytechnique Montréal. Alexandra holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Santa Cruz do Sul, complemented by earlier experience as a web developer.
