Samantha Stanton has a diverse range of experience in various roles within the corporate and public sectors. Samantha began their career at ANZ as a Collections Officer, where they worked for five years. Samantha then transitioned to the Department of Justice as a Project Officer for two years. Samantha then moved on to the State Services Authority/Office of Public Employment, where they served as a Senior Adviser for three years. Following this, they joined Manningham City Council as an Organisational Development Coordinator, where they worked for three years. Samantha then joined the City of Melbourne as a Team Leader HR Consulting for two years. Samantha then moved to the City of Greater Bendigo, where they served as a Manager in various roles, including People and Learning and People and Performance. Samantha'stenure at the City of Greater Bendigo lasted for seven years. Samantha later joined Knox City Council as a Manager in People Performance for two years, followed by a role as Manager in People and Culture for one year. Samantha'smost recent role is as Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Improvement at the Mornington Peninsula Shire, which they began in 2022.
Samantha Stanton obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from RMIT University, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. Samantha later pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Management at Monash University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006.
