Pierre Guiswe

Pierre Guiswe has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on quality control and operations. Pierre is currently working as the Director of QA Operations at MorphoSys since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Qualified Person for Third Party Operations European Generics, where they were responsible for the release and certification of final drug product batches and the review and approval of deviations, change controls, and other quality-related documents from October 2019 to September 2021. Pierre also served as the Team Leader of Quality Operations at Woerwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG from April 2019 to August 2019, where they were responsible for various quality topics such as stability programs and task forces. Before joining Woerwag Pharma, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim for over 14 years, where they held the position of Associate Director and Head of Quality Control. During their tenure at Boehringer Ingelheim, Pierre gained extensive experience in quality control for both small molecules and biologics and led multidisciplinary teams for starting material qualification. Pierre also worked at Sandoz as a Project Leader/Manager from January 2004 to August 2005, and at Roche Diagnostics Europe as a Group Leader/Team Leader from March 2002 to December 2003. Pierre started their career at Sanofi as a Lab Manager/Lab Head, where they were involved in analytical method development using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, DC, and LC-MS.

Pierre Guiswe completed their education in Pharmacy with a focus on research and practical application. From 1989 to 1996, they attended the University of Regensburg, where they obtained a Germany state examination in pharmacy. Following this, Pierre pursued further academic achievements at the same university, obtaining a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from 1996 to 2000.
