Stefanie Schier-Mumzhiu

Stefanie Schier-Mumzhiu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and program management. Stefanie currently holds the position of Director / Global Program Operational Head at MorphoSys. Stefanie joined the company in September 2022 and is responsible for overseeing global program operations.

Prior to their role at MorphoSys, Stefanie worked at Sandoz as an Associate Director / Program Operational Leader from January 2021 to August 2022. Stefanie demonstrated their expertise in clinical trials during their time at Sandoz, where they served as a Senior Clinical Trial Leader from June 2018 to December 2020 and as a Clinical Trial Leader from October 2015 to May 2018.

Stefanie also gained valuable experience as a Clinical Trial Specialist at Bavarian Nordic A/S from October 2012 to September 2015. Before that, they worked at INC Research as a Clinical Research Associate II from July 2012 to September 2012 and as a Clinical Research Associate I from July 2010 to June 2012.

Stefanie's work experience began with their role as a PhD Student at Cancer Research UK from May 2005 to May 2009, further demonstrating their dedication to the field of clinical research.

Stefanie Schier-Mumzhiu completed their Staatsexamen degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Freie Universität Berlin in 2005. Following this, they pursued a PhD at Queen Mary University of London, focusing their research on Adult Stem Cells, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Angiogenesis. Stefanie successfully completed their PhD in 2009.
