Andreas Maier

Andreas Maier has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Andreas is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Morrow Batteries, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing at Morrow Batteries from April 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Morrow Batteries, Maier worked at Mando Hella Electronics as the Executive Director from January 2018 to April 2021. Andreas also held the position of Vice-President and Head of Quality Management at Samsung SDI from May 2012 to January 2018.

Maier's career also includes roles at Doosan Neoplux as a Director from December 2010 to April 2012, and at McKinsey&Company as a Senior Associate from February 2006 to December 2010. Andreas previously worked at Hyundai Mobis, Korea as a Project Manager from January 2002 to December 2004 and at Mando Corp, Korea as a Senior Research Engineer from April 2001 to January 2002.

Early in their career, Maier served as a Research Assistant at the University of Sunderland from 1996 to 1999.

Throughout their professional journey, Maier has gained extensive experience in operations, manufacturing, quality management, and research.

Andreas Maier pursued their higher education starting in 1996 at the University of Sunderland, where they obtained a PhD in Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics in 1999. Following this, they attended IMD in 2005, completing an MBA degree.
