Alireza Oliazadeh

Director of R&D and Manufacturing at Mosaic Manufacturing

Alireza Oliazadeh has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2011 as an Assistant Auto Mechanic at Manzel Auto Service. In 2012, they took on a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern role at Hatch, and then returned to Hatch in 2013 as a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern, where they assisted Design Engineers with modelling piping component in SolidWorks and performing FEA analysis on critical parts under transient load and vibration. In 2016, they joined Mosaic Manufacturing as the Director of R&D and Manufacturing, and then became the Palette 2 R&D and Manufacturing Lead, where they setup manufacturing of the next generation of Palette line of products overseas and designed parts for injection moulding, ease assembly and maintenance. Alireza also acted as the Palette Lead, developing the new solid state Splice Core technology used at the core of every Palette and optimizing Palette performance and reducing production cost by designing new systems, parts and assembly processes. Finally, they also served as an Assembly Engineer at Mosaic Manufacturing.

Alireza Oliazadeh obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics Specialization from Ryerson University between 2010 and 2014. Alireza then went on to obtain a Master of Business Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo between 2014 and 2015. In February 2014, they also obtained a Certified SolidWorks Associate from SolidWorld.
