Tessa Barton

Tessa Barton is a Research Scientist at MosaicML since May 2023, previously serving as a Model Evaluator at the Alignment Research Center. Tessa has experience as a Research Engineer at The New York Times, where work included contributions to sports analytics articles. Prior roles include a Research Intern at Pixar Animation Studios, Software Engineer at Snap Inc., Machine Learning Intern at Tinder, Inc., and Machine Learning Intern at SpaceX, where data products for telemetry data processing were developed. Tessa also served as a Mentor for Statistics at Pomona College and worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tessa holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Brown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Pomona College.
