Description

The IVR Developer specializing in IVR Development is integral to creating and enhancing Interactive Voice Response systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient caller experience. This role involves designing, coding, and maintaining IVR applications, requiring a deep understanding of telephony systems, voice recognition technology, and user interface design. The professional must translate complex business requirements into functional IVR solutions, optimizing call flows and integrating with backend systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for diagnosing and resolving IVR system issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align IVR functionalities with organizational goals. The role demands continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies in telecommunication. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality voice applications. As a bridge between technology and users, the IT Engineer specializing in IVR Development ensures an intuitive and productive interaction with automated telephony systems.

Requirements

Base-level position where the individual takes on more complex projects, demonstrating a growing ability to work independently. They contribute to team objectives, start to specialize in certain areas, and show an ability to innovate within their projects.

  • Monitor and maintain the operational health of applications across production environments.
  • Coordinate with development teams to manage application releases, updates, and patches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Participate in the development and review of application disaster recovery plans.
  • Document incident management processes and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards in application management.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of IVR systems and make data-driven improvements.
  • Ensure that security measures are integrated into the IVR systems to protect sensitive customer data and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Solid experience in IVR development, with a focus on user-centric design.
  • Skilled in coding, testing, and deploying IVR applications.
  • Contributes to the optimization of call flows and voice user interfaces.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Collaborates effectively with teams to meet IVR application goals.
  • Assists in vendor interactions under supervision, learning the basics of vendor communication and the importance of aligning vendor solutions with organizational needs.
  • Begins to understand the landscape of network-related presales, learning to identify potential opportunities under the guidance of more senior staff.
  • Contributes to system optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop leadership skills to guide teams, manage projects effectively, and drive innovation in IVR development.

  • Advanced expertise in IVR development and telephony systems.
  • Demonstrates agility in adjusting strategies to meet changing business and project demands, often guiding teams through transitions or new challenges.
  • Communicates complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders, resolving conflicts and building consensus among team members and clients.
  • Proven ability to lead IVR projects and initiatives.
  • Drives the evaluation and adoption of new voice technologies.

Where You'll Work

Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of our downtown Indianapolis office.
