Tarun Agarwal

Tarun Agarwal is currently the Data & AI Practice Lead at Motifworks. Prior to that, they were the Head of Data Management & Analytics at Lincoln Financial Group from April 2014 to May 2018. In that role, they revamped data management operations and transformed outmoded technology with a 40-person staff. Tarun also crafted a strategic roadmap, reskilled/upskilled the team, and aligned projects and resources to facilitate team growth. In addition, they improved IT performance companywide via leadership of CIO-sponsored performance improvement program.

Some notable accomplishments during their time at Lincoln Financial Group include upgrading sales data availability and enabling sales targeting of new markets by building out wholesale distribution analytical reporting solutions; capturing consumer insights that bolstered cross-sales and achieved a 35% response rate – more than 2X greater than previous campaigns; and elevating sales team field engagement and slashing advisor attrition 20% by creating an advanced analytics and predictive solution that captured insights leveraged to customize performance incentives.
