David Schwanky

David Schwanky has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. David is currently working at Motional as the Vice President of Compute & Onboard Runtime Environment. Prior to that, they held a role at HERE Technologies as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, where they led a team focused on map making and automated driving technology. Before joining HERE Technologies, David was the Director of Software Engineering - Platform and Services at Argo AI, where they oversaw the development of infrastructure, tooling, and cloud services. David also held roles as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Argo AI. Prior to Argo AI, David worked at Ford Motor Company as a Virtual Driver Software Architecture Supervisor and Software Development Engineer. David also has experience at Thomson Reuters as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, as well as at GE Aviation as a student software engineer.

David Schwanky completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Michigan State University from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business at Wayne State University from 2012 to 2015.
