Tom Yuan

Tom Yuan is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing and optimizing complex electrical systems across various industries, including automotive and energy. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Brillouin Energy, Tom focuses on defining product architectures and enhancing performance, while also leading investigations into testing failures. Previously, Tom held senior roles at Motiv Power Systems and Panasonic Automotive Systems USA, where responsibilities included designing powertrain control systems, overseeing component verification, and leading failure analyses. Tom's earlier experience includes significant contributions to Schlumberger and Continental Automotive Singapore, where expertise in high-temperature electronics and automotive infotainment systems was demonstrated. Tom Yuan holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
