Mahboob Elahi

Mahboob Elahi is an experienced professional with a significant background in transport policy, environmental management, and sustainable development. Currently serving as Deputy Team Leader for the National Transport Policy of Pakistan at Mott MacDonald since February 2017, Mahboob Elahi leads a major project in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank. As Chief Executive Officer of Futurewise Inc. since September 2013, Mahboob Elahi has also held various roles with UNDP, including Independent Consultant for the Pakistan Sustainable Transport Project and National Project Director for Environmental Policy & Governance. Previous experiences include key positions with the National Disaster Management Authority, Water and Sanitation Agency, and the Federal Ministry of Environment, showcasing extensive involvement in policy formulation and implementation at multiple levels of government.
