Marta Austin, CHRL, RPR has a varied work experience that includes roles in the education, fitness, arts, and government sectors. Marta is currently an Instructor at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University since 2023. Previously, Marta has worked at MOVATI Athletic, where they held positions such as Director of People & Culture, Regional Manager of People & Culture, and Human Resources Business Partner from 2014 to 2020. Marta also worked at the National Arts Centre as a Human Resources Support in 2014. Marta's earlier experience includes working for the Government of Canada in the Office of the Minister of Natural Resources from 2010 to 2013.

Marta Austin, CHRL, RPR, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Fredericton. Marta also has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. In addition to their formal education, Marta has obtained several certifications including Adult Education from the Canadian College of Educators, Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) from HRPA - Office of the Registrar, and Registered Professional Recruiter from the Institute Of Professional Management (IPM).
