Ajay S. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and innovation. Ajay is currently the Director of Engineering at Movella, where they lead multiple software development teams and focuses on operational improvements and scalability. Prior to this, they worked at Philips Innovation Campus, Bangalore, holding various roles such as Innovation Portfolio Manager and Sr. Director & R&D Lead for new initiatives and emerging business. Ajay also served as the Sr. Director & Global Head of R&D and Director & Site Lead at Connected Digital Platforms & Propositions. Before joining Philips, they worked at Philips Consumer Electronics as a Sr. Project Manager and at Philips Innovation Campus as a Project Manager. Ajay started their career as a Project Leader at Philips Global Development Centre, Belgium.

Ajay S. is currently pursuing the INSEAD Leadership Program for Senior Executives General Management at INSEAD from 2019 to 2020. In 2015, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a Program on Innovation, Corporate Strategy, and Competitive Performance. They obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nagpur University between 1994 and 1997. Ajay S. also holds additional certifications, including Career Essentials in Generative AI from Microsoft and LinkedIn (obtained year: 2024), Blue Ocean Practical Introduction™ course from The Blue Ocean Academy™ Team (obtained year: 2019), and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (obtained month: April, year: 2009).
