Fred Matera

Fred Matera is the Chief Investment Officer at Redwood Trust, Inc., where Fred also serves as the Head of Redwood Residential and a Board Member. Fred is the Managing Partner at MoVi Connect, a professional network focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and diversity. With a background in mortgage trading and structured credit, Fred has held leadership roles at RPM Mortgage, Greenwich Capital Markets, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette / Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs. Fred holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
