Davide Santambrogio

Data Scientist at Moviri

Davide Santambrogio started working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois System in September 2019. In this role, they built a device to assist stroke survivors in their rehabilitation, developing and testing multiple prototypes of both hardware and software. The hardware consisted of an Arduino device that tracked the motion of the affected foot and sent this information to an Android tablet running a Unity game to motivate patients to perform rehabilitation exercises. Davide ended this position in June 2020.

Prior to that, Davide worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois System from January 2019 to May 2019.

In 2017, Davide worked as an Information Technology Management intern at ISTITUTI EDMONDO DE AMICIS S.R.L. (APPLE SCHOOL) from September 2017 to June 2018.

In 2020, Davide worked as a Data Science Intern at Amazon from June 2020 to December 2020.

Most recently, Davide started working as a Data Scientist at Moviri in May 2021.

Davide Santambrogio completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2014 to 2017. Davide then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Politecnico di Milano from 2017 to 2020. In 2018 to 2019, they furthered their education by completing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago.

In addition to their formal education, Davide Santambrogio obtained several certifications. In 2013, they obtained the First Certificate in English from Cambridge University Press. Davide also achieved the TOEFL certification from Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 2017. Furthermore, they participated in the Hash Code 2019 Online Qualification Round conducted by Google in February 2019.
