Josh Whiting

Josh Whiting is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Mozilla since May 2023, focusing on innovative internet application opportunities. As a co-founder and CTO of StoriumEdu, active since February 2013, Josh has developed a web-based multiplayer storytelling game that enhances student motivation to write. Previous roles include Lead Mobile Engineer at Klout, where Josh managed the mobile team and expedited the development of the Klout iOS application, and Co-Founder of Blockboard, which aimed to foster community engagement through a mobile platform. Earlier experience includes engineering positions at Craigslist and Yahoo!, management roles at ValleyFree, Inc., and IT consulting at Tapestry Health Systems. Josh Whiting holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Hampshire College.
