Samantha Akwei

Samantha Akwei, MPA, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in diversity program management and community organization. Currently serving as a member of Catalyst 2030, Samantha holds dual positions at Mozilla, where responsibilities include Diversity Talent Sourcing Manager and Staff Inclusive Talent Program Manager. Prior experience includes leadership roles at The Bar Association of San Francisco, managing over ten diversity initiatives, and curating community solutions as a Curator for the Global Shapers Community. Samantha has also contributed to various organizations such as Just Cities Institute, NTEN, and Dream Corps, focusing on leadership development, digital literacy, and community empowerment. Academic qualifications include a BA in English from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration from San Francisco State University, and a study abroad program in Strategic Management of Creativity and Social Innovation at Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University.
